A socialite from Manchester – who has
been dubbed ‘Britain’s Vainest Man’ – has
been attacked on a night out.
Ryan Staveley was assaulted while out
with friends at the Kiki bar in the city’s
Gay Village at around 3am on Sunday
morning.
He was left with a
smashed eye socket
after being targeted
in an unprovoked
attack while out with
friends.
The part-time model
has expressed
outrage after discovering his attacker was
let off with a police caution.
However, Greater Manchester Police reject
claims that this was a soft option as
the individual gets a ‘police record’. According to Chief Inspector Phil
Spurgeon, common assault cases
suspects are eligible for a caution if they
have no previous convictions or criminal
history.
25-year-old Staveley gained notoriety after
admitting going bankrupt in his quest to
become the ‘perfect 10’.
His beauty addiction
began after he was
dumped by his
girlfriend of 12 years.
He claims he spends
£1,000 on his looks
every month –
including cosmetics,
Botox and tanning injections.
While appearing on a TV show, the fashion
and cosmetics manager revealed he was
£22,000 in debt from store cards on his
mission for self-perfection.
