Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is
reportedly considering a return to English
football.
The 36-year-old is currently playing for
MLS side LA Galaxy, but his contract with
the American outfit comes to an end in
November.
According to the
Daily Mirror , Gerrard
is still awaiting
formal talks over a
new deal, and would
be a free agent if he
doesn’t sign one in
the near future.
The ex-England international has already
said he would never play for a Premier
League side that isn’t Liverpool, but he
could come back to England as a coach or
lower league player, according to the
report.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is thought to have
held discussions with the midfielder over a
coaching return to Anfield, and the fan
favourite would welcomed with open arms
by supporters.
Gerrard made 710
appearances over 17
seasons with the
Merseyside outfit,
before leaving in
2015.
He has since gone on
to play in the MLS,
where this year he has three goals in 19
appearances for Galaxy as they look to
qualify for the play-offs.
