Hector Bellerin shared a classy tribute to
Arsenal following his announcement that
he had just signed a new long-term deal at
the Emirates.
It’s understood the right-back has agreed
to a new six-and-a-half-year contract with
the Gunners which should see him remain
in north London until the summer of 2023.
Manchester City and
former club Barcelona
were known admirers
of Bellerin but the 21-
year-old sees Arsenal
as his ‘home’ and
has committed his
future to the club.
Bellerin’s claim that
Arsenal is now his
‘home’ will come as a hammer blow to
Barca, considering he came through the
ranks at the Nou Camp as a teen.
Bellerin uploaded an emotional video along
with the message to his official Facebook
page – the clip documents his rapid rise
from academy prospect to first-team
regular under Arsene Wenger.
‘A lot has changed since I first joined the
club. This is my home. The club who gave
me my first opportunity,’ Bellerin told his
followers.
