Diego Costa has suggested his Chelsea exit
has not yet been agreed amid speculation
that he is on the verge of completing a £76
million transfer to the Chinese Super League.
Last week, reports in Spain claimed that the
striker has signed a pre-contract with Tianjian Quanjian.
The Chinese club have reportedly offered the 28-year-old offered a a contract worth £25.3m per season.
But the Spain international has now hinted that the Far East may not be his next destination.
‘I am the owner of my future and it does not
mean that I am going to China,’ he
told DIRECTVSports.
Costa found the net in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory
over Middlesbrough on Monday evening.
The win means that Antonio Conte’s side
could now secure the title when they travel to face West Brom on Friday evening.
