Antonio Conte has become the first
Chelsea manager to register 11
consecutive wins in a single Premier
League season.
Diego Costa’s first-half header sealed a
1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on
Saturday to extend Chelsea’s lead at the
top of the Premier League to nine points.
Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti
combined managed to guide Chelsea to a
club-record 11 consecutive victories in
2009.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho managed a 10-
game winning run during his first stint in
charge at Stamford Bridge in the 2008-09
campaign.
Chelsea are now three games from
equalling Arsenal’s Premier League record
of 14 consecutive wins, which was set in
August 2002.
