Manchester United targeting Antoine Griezmann, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Nelson Semedo and Victor Lindelof in stunning £180m raid

Jose Mourinho could take his spending at
    Manchester United past the £350million
mark at Old Trafford with the acquisition
of four stars – Antoine Griezmann,

    Tiemoue Bakayoko, Nelson Semedo and
Victor Lindelof – across the next two
    transfer windows.
The 53-year-old spent £150m during his
first summer in charge of the Red Devils
but he believes he needs at least another
18 months to form his own side at the
    Theatre of Dreams.
Lindelof, 22, is expected to move to the
club in January in a deal worth around
£42m after United officials held successful
talks Benfica’s president earlier this week.
Griezmann, 25, has been heavily linked
with a move to the club but United will
    have to activate the Frenchman’s
£84million release clause to prise him
    away the Spanish capital.
According to the Telegraph, United are
confident that they can strike a deal with
Atletico given the uncertainty over Diego
    Simeone’s future at the club.
As well as those deals, the Red Devils hope
to complete moves for Benfica right-
    back Nelson Semedo and Monaco
    midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Antonio Valencia, 31, has impressed at
full-back this term but the options beyond
the Ecuadorian are scarce and Matteo
Darmian is expected to leave the club once
    replacements are found.
A deal for Semedo could be difficult given
the interest from Bayern Munich but any
deal would top the £25m mark.
    Bakayoko, a defensive midfielder, has
represented France at U21 level and has
been tracked by Premier League rivals
    Chelsea and Liverpool.
The 22-year-old is regularly compared to
Michael Essien and could be the ideal
replacement for Michael Carrick, who is
yet to be offered a new deal on his
contract that expires at the end of the
    season.
The Frenchman would cost in the region of
£35m should he leave Ligue 1, meaning
the club’s total spending for the quartet
    could surpass the £180m mark.
