Antonio Conte has warned Jose Mourinho
that he will not tone down his passion ahead of Chelsea ‘s FA Cup clash with ManchesterUnited on Monday night.
Mourinho accused the Italian manager of
‘humiliating’ him after the Red Devils’ 4-0
thumping back in October when tensions spilled over into the tunnel at Stamford Bridge.
Conte was typically animated on the touchline during the victory and Mourinho is believed to have told him behave like that ‘at 1-0, not at 4-0’.
‘I think I showed always in every team that I managed that I live the game with great
passion,’ Conte told the media on Friday afternoon. ‘I think it is normal. The most important thing is to try to win and then to think about the celebration.’
The 47-year-old ex-Juventus boss revealed
that he has not spoken to Mourinho about
the incident.
He said: ‘No, but I don’t think it’s important.
